The Maryland Brewers Association, the non-profit trade association for the Maryland brewing industry. The mission of BAM is to grow, promote and protect the Maryland craft beer industry. BAM currently produces two annual large-scale events; in Spring, The Maryland Craft Beer Festival on Carroll Creek in Downtown Frederick, and in Autumn, The Baltimore Craft Beer Festival in the heart of the City of Baltimore. Both of these events directly fund the mission of the Brewers Association of Maryland.
Client Needs
As a leading brewing industry association, the Maryland Brewers Association was looking for a partner for a much-need redesign of a website that no longer reflected the professionalism of the organization or its membership. The new website needed to accommodate multiple administrators and editors, provide detailed information about more than thirty breweries across the state of Maryland, and offer legislative information and resources to its members.
Solution
The new Brewers Association of Maryland website includes complete content management, social media integrations, a mobile-responsive layout, an interactive map of Maryland breweries, and detailed information about each of its member companies.
DatAchieve is currently developing a geo-location based mobile app for the association that will enable beer lovers to check-in and earn points as they tour Maryland breweries and brewpubs. The platform also includes a multi-site management system that enables the association to launch and manage free-standing special event websites directly from the main Maryland Brewers Association website.
All of us at DatAchieve had a great time cooking up the new marylandbeer.org website. They kept us hoppin’ but we chugged along and barley broke a sweat.
