Founded in 2009, the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts is an innovative magnet high school offering more than ten majors. These include Theatre, Musical Theatre, Technical Theatre, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Dance, Creative Writing, Visual Arts, CGDA, and Digital Communications.
The Barbara Ingram School for the Arts Foundation supports the school by providing funds for master classes, enriched arts curriculum, artist-in-residence instructors, access to state-of-the-art instructional materials and technology, and other educational opportunities.
Launched in 2012, the barbaraingramfoundation.org website had become dated, the content was difficult to manage, and functionality was limited. Additionally, the website was built on a proprietary version of WordPress no longer supported by the original developer, making it difficult to change and grow as the organization’s needs evolved.
The organization wanted a design that would be fun but professional and showcase the creative nature of the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. It was also important for foundation staff to be able to update content without assistance and add functionality in the future.
DatAchieve Digital provided the BISFA Foundation with an attractive updated website that not only better reflects their organization but also allows them to more easily update it in response to future needs.
With persistent calls-to-action for donations and a more clear navigation that quickly directs visitors to the information they need, the colorful new barbaraingramfoundation.org site serves as an effective hub for the Foundation‘s administrative, community, and fundraising activities.
