Meinelschmidt is a new distillery located in Hagerstown, Maryland. Offering quality bourbon and rye whiskeys, the distillery is also bottling a line of vodkas under the Pretty Girl label, the name of the Meinelschmidt family’s dog. The Meinelschmidt whiskeys each feature individual U.S. Medal of Honor recipients and Meinelschmidt donates a portion of the proceeds from every bottle sold to a combat veteran program or charity.
In order to set itself apart in an increasingly busy craft beverage marketplace, Meinelschmidt Distillery was in need of a unique and eye-catching brand that would attract consumers and reflect the distillery’s product and story. The new company also needed a website that would share the Meinelschmidt story, direct visitors to distributor locations, and offer online product sales and event registration.
DatAchieve Digital provided Meinelschmidt with branding, logo, and packaging design, and scannable labels that shared the stories behind each product.
DatAchieve also developed the meineldistillery.com website, highlighting the unique and club-like atmosphere of the tasting room and production facilities.
Honoring fallen soldiers, their sacrifices, and those they left behind is central to the Meinelschmidt whiskey product, story, and distillery experience. Arriving at the tasting room one of the first things you will notice is the prominent Missing Man table, recognizing the sacrifice and expressing gratitude, the table is symbolically reserved for those who did not come home.
The warm and inviting space looks down onto a two-story still, coming up through the floor and visible through floor-to-ceiling windows in the tasting room.
